Family Voices Colorado is working to have your voice heard by our legislators, and your family’s photos and story are the most powerful persuader. Our organization is sponsoring a committee this summer to study the issues, suggest solutions, and draft legislation to help families with children on the waiting list.

Make your voice heard!

Please write about why your child/family needs this waiver slot; what benefits/services you hope to get that other funding sources do not cover, and how your family will benefit with a waiver slot. For example, talk about how your child’s health is affected if you have to go without services. What medical supplies or services does your child have to go without? Include information on how your life would change if your child received Medicaid. For example, you could go back to work, your child could attend school, you would not have to fear declaring bankruptcy, etc.
